Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 31, 2026

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Third Place ("we", "us", "our"), a sole trader based in Manchester, United Kingdom, handles your data when you play Rondo: Summer Internationals ("the App").

We are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018, and the EU GDPR where it applies.

2. The Short Version

Rondo has no accounts and no servers of ours. Your campaigns, squads, and achievements live on your device and never reach us. We do not collect, see, or store any personal data ourselves.

The App is funded by rewarded adverts and a one-time premium purchase. When an advert is requested or shown, Google and its advertising partners process limited device and interaction data to serve, secure, and measure it. That is the only personal data processing connected to the App, and the choices available to you are described below.

3. Your Game Data

Everything you create in Rondo — campaigns, saved tournaments, tactics, renamed players, achievements, and settings — is stored locally on your device only. It is not uploaded, synced, or transmitted to us or anyone else.

Deleting the App deletes this data permanently. We have no copy and no way to recover it.

4. Advertising

Rondo shows rewarded adverts ("sponsor breaks"). Advertising is provided by Google AdMob and advertising partners that buy inventory through Google.

When an advert is requested, Google Mobile Ads may process an IP address and the general location derived from it, app- or developer-bounded device identifiers, advertising data, advert and app interactions, diagnostics, crash logs, and performance information. Google uses this information to serve and measure adverts, provide analytics, cap frequency, prevent fraud, and improve its services. Rondo does not request access to Apple's Identifier for Advertisers and does not ask for permission to track you across other companies' apps or websites.

We do not receive information that directly identifies you. Google processes advertising data under the Google Privacy Policy and explains how it uses information from apps that use its services.

If you purchase Rondo Premium, the App stops requesting adverts entirely and the advertising SDK is not started.

6. Purchases

Rondo Premium is a one-time in-app purchase processed entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details. The purchase is tied to your Apple Account and can be restored on any of your devices from the Premium screen.

7. Data Retention

We retain nothing, because we collect nothing. Game data stays on your device until you delete the App. Data processed by our advertising partners is retained according to their published policies.

8. Your Rights

Under UK and EU data protection law you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection. Because we hold no personal data about you, requests about advertising data are best directed to our advertising partners via the links in section 4 — but you can always contact us at will@thirdplace.tech and we will help you exercise them.

9. Children's Privacy

Rondo is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly allow the collection of personal data from children. Adverts in the App are configured for a general audience.

10. International Transfers

Our advertising partners operate globally and may process the data described in section 4 outside the UK and EEA, under appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses. Details are in their privacy policies.

11. Changes to This Policy

If we change how the App handles data, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be highlighted in the App's release notes.

12. Contact & Complaints

Questions about this policy: will@thirdplace.tech.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk, or to your local supervisory authority in the EU.
